We’ve been waiting for you to come aboard and join us for the 42nd Southeast Regional Institute on Deafness (SERID) Conference! Our theme is, “All Aboard for Employment!” The dates for the conference are October 16 – 19, 2012. We will be posting new information from time to time so keep on stopping by our website (www.serid2012.org) to see what is new. Currently, we are planning to have 3 dynamic plenary speakers, 59 informative workshops, wonderful cultural enrichment, top notch exhibits, thrilling awards, and a lot of opportunities for crucial networking.
We will have pertinent subjects taught by highly respected professionals who represent their careers in:

Ø Hard of Hearing
Ø Deaf-Blindness
Ø Technology
Ø Mental Health
Ø Education
Continuing Educational Units (CEU’s) will be offered to Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, Sign Language Interpreters/Transliterators, Educators, and Mental Health Professionals.
